Two of Shanghai Genomics research publications were awarded "Excellent Scientific Papers" by Pudong New Area, Shanghai. Both papers have been published by the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS), one of the world's leading multidisciplinary scientific serials. Dr. Jun Wu, the CSO of GNI and Shanghai Genomics, is the corresponding author of both papers. The awards were selected from more than five hundred papers in many scientific fields.

The high through-put drug target screening platform was awarded "Science and Technology Award of
the Year" by the municipal government of Shanghai. The high through-put drug target screening platform was
established on the basis of company's key technology and expertise. Using this platform, Shanghai Genomics has
performed large-scale screening for cancer and inflammation related genes and identified promising drug targets.
