Shanghai Genomics has a long-term commitment and much expertise in siRNA knockdown technology and bioinformatics analysis. Our gene networks are derived from a large volume of micro-array data (siRNA knowck down and drug treatment time courses). Thousands of genes in specific cells have been established by using complex Bayesian network algorithms and super computer systems. While these networks provide information of the cell-type and specific gene-gene relationships between gene pairs; network analysis programs identify specific targets and pathways upon particular stimuli (e.g. Drugs). This approach is an excellent supplement to existing biological research tools and supports the research and development of safer and more effective drugs. |
